Our new white paper looks at how Indicio’s customers are using the technology behind Proven to solve a wide range of problems and build new products and services.

Proven is Indicio’s flagship product—a complete and fully open source system for creating, holding, exchanging, and authenticating digital information using decentralized, interoperable verifiable credential technology.
Indicio designed Proven to make it easy for organizations to integrate, use, and scale verifiable credentials to authenticate information and share it in privacy-preserving, secure ways. It does this by removing the learning curve to implementing open source decentralized identity codebases and providing all the components needed to quickly deploy a complete verifiable credential solution—a Trusted Digital Ecosystem.
Proven isn’t a platform. It’s an open source way to build open source, interoperable ecosystems or platforms. Indicio provides all the support and training needed to do this, and it will continue to provide updates to the software. But customers are free to build on Proven to meet their needs. You own it; Indicio doesn’t own you.
This approach provides the flexibility needed to drive adoption, accelerate digital transformation, and unlock innovation.
How? And why do you need this technology?
Our new white paper explains how Proven addresses the chronic problems of fraud, verification, privacy, and security through open source, interoperable, decentralized identity technology.
It does this by giving organizations the ability to build what we call “Trusted Digital Ecosystems.” Information in a Trusted Digital Ecosystem is verifiable without having to check in with the original source of that information, create complex integrations, or rely on a third party to store and validate the information.
The upshot is that digital information in a Trusted Digital Ecosystem becomes immediately actionable by being immediately verifiable. This has many implications from KYC to providing identities for verifying machines and device data, and to implementing Zero-Trust security, and the white paper looks at how Indicio’s customers are using the technology behind Proven to solve a wide range of problems and build new products and services.
This is just the first wave of innovation. By “proving anything,” Proven is a way to free information and identity through making it verifiable and actionable. What does that world look like? Read on—and then go build it with Proven!
