Here’s what Dahl had to say about the news.

It’s an honor to be listed among leading innovators who are changing how the world interacts and moves. We founded Indicio to do just this — to remove the friction, the obstacles, and the limitations of how we move through the world, digitally, and to make every interaction simple, seamless, instant.

For travel, this meant reimagining airports without lines, where everything, from check in to border crossing would be digitized and managed with the traveler’s consent — from their sofa.

The solution would be simple to implement across airline systems and radically improve operational efficiency. It would be secure and trustworthy and protect privacy. Everything would be seamless, streamlined, and stress-free. Everything could be integrated from booking to rewards programs to airport services, hospitality and beyond. People could just go and keep moving.

And, thanks to partners SITA and the Aruba Tourism Authority, that’s what we delivered with the Digital Travel Credential. A seamless solution that works on any system and provides award-winning (KipplingerCole EIC and Constellation SuperNova) privacy protection.

What it means today: You can now cross a border in the time it takes to smile.

What it will mean in 2024: Everything you need as a traveler will be accessible seamlessly — car rental, hotel check in, event booking, you name your need, we’ve got a simple, secure way to integrate it into your experience.

And, because verifiable credentials have digital superpowers, everything can be configured, with the traveler’s consent, to provide boss-level personalized interaction.

We’ve even shown how verifiable data and identity are essential for AI to access and leverage personal data.

In 2024, travel will show the world a new way of interacting digitally. It’s both a practical solution and a metaphor. With Indicio, we’re broadening the horizons of where you can go and what is possible when you bring the real and digital worlds together.
